LOVE=SUMMER!

I LOVE SUMMER! Not because of the sticky heat that makes your armpits sweat and then you smell and have to get perfume to cover the evidence. Okay...I'm joking! I love summer because you can stay up late, read books and eat skinny cow ice cream which is my absolute fav! I love summer and if you love it too, comment, or like or whatever, but anyway. Snoot, Snoot and snootiness!

Doesn't it make you cringe when people are snooty. I think for me that is the worst thing a person could be is a snoot. I know some people that are and I hope that I am never like that! Snootiness mixed with pride is the worst. I cannot hang around people that up themselves all the time and have this snooty mentality. Like they always say stuff like 'Well my school is better' 'For my birthday I m going to Hawaii not the mall' ' I already have a car'. My mom said that when people act like that they are usually jealous of you. It still really irritates me. I just ignore them because people like that don't deserve your time.

Crazy Dayzz...

You know when everything is happening way to fast and you cant grasp time. That is how I feel with this blog! I want to maintain a blog and then I just sleep for a few weeks! OK so far...I have been very busy with Summer School, moving into a new house and working my butt off. I am totally exasperated at the moment that my fingers feel like falling off and my head wants to make friends with a pillow and I want to sleep forever! Ever have those days? On the contrary, I think that I am a weird soul. Too weird. I am getting the munchies right now...I guess I will go eat a saltine cracker and go to the bathroom.

Okay back from the bathroom...I am munching on crackers right now. Yum. So last night I was up till four painting my bedroom, I have dark shadows under my eyes and I look like I haven't slept in days. Like a ghost from a horror movie of some sorts. Scary.

Book Review Monday!

 The help, in a well crafted book based in Jackson, Mississippi during the segregation . The Author, Kathryn Stockett  knows how to portray the typical 'Southern Belles' and of course the black maids during this time in America. What you don't know is that this book isn't just an artifact filling you in about our American history, it digs much deeper into your heart and moves your emotions. Don't worry it is also filled with laughs and it is defiantly a page turner and a book you should keep on your shelf for life! I, myself, was breathe taken by this story. The help, is the story of black maids rallying together and pushing the limits when writing a book with a white woman named 'Skeeter'. They write about 'how they like being a maid'. The Help, is filled with sad, scary, intriguing, romantic, funny and laugh your head off stories! I highly recommend this book! So make sure you buy it or go to your local library to get a copy!

My Fashion Design

I kind of wish this outfit was real...so I could wear it. I love the shoes, the hat, the scarf and the boyfriend blazer...just wish I could sew! Need to learn sooo badly :) :)

The Art in Earth

Without Art the earth would just be 'eh'. :) I think that is a very true factor. I hate it when people only see in black and white...they don't see colors or that the earth is a wonderful place. I believe people make up those colors, I think we take life for granted and we just dream about material things rather than focusing on true treasures. People and our relationships. One of my favorite quotes is by 'Vincent Van Gogh' it goes like this... "The more I think about it the more it seems...there is nothing more truly artist than to love people. I agree, that is one brilliant quote! So, rethink your path in life and stop living the stupid phony American dream, love people and you will live with no regrets! (I drew the pic...so inspired by that quote:)

Book Review Monday!

Finding Noel is happy, sad, interesting and charming! I've read this book three times and it gets better every time I re-read it! I love Richard Paul Evans and so if you haven't read any of his books this book would be a good start because if you read one of his books you are going to want to read all of them. His books are nurturing for your soul and keeps you on your toes. Easy reads and good story-lines...I'm all about that! So check Richard Paul Evans out at your local library and start reading! :)

I Love Banksy!

 

Hey, Check up Banksy! He is a graffiti artist in England and nobody knows who he is. So, I t is pretty awesome. He does work all over the world and I am thinking of making this black and white and blowing it up on a canvas in my bedroom. Would that be a good idea? I love all his art work! To me it does not feel like graffiti, it is just genius and creative!

Hey! Are any of you vintage lovers...Well I am! All you need is to be creative and open minded,mix and match all the time, and to score cute clothes for a good price, shop at Goodwill or Savers! You can mix and match there and find name-brands for lower prices! Its amazing. What I like to do is get inspiration. You can take something plain and put it together!

Book Review! Must Read

So all you book lovers looking for something crammed with Christmas, Redemption and just an all around interesting story...try 'The Christmas Sweater' by Glenn Beck! He is an excellent writer and it is an awesome book. It will leave you with tears, joy and so much happiness! Please pick it up at your library and have a fun time reading it!

Not- So normal teen bedroom!

I think that teenagers should all be different, special and unique!! For one thing it seems the norm for teenage bedroom styles these days consist of- purple or pink, zebra stripes and glitzy glamor. Can we be more creative than that- and try to be different? I am going to be doing my room my own style! Don't worry once we move I will keep you posted! :)
